Been here for a short time.

In Bath, and do my shooting at East Bath. See you all there. They do have a block shoot on Sunday if you are interested. I will probably be selling tickets if I get there.

From Nazareth. Graduated from Naz in 2006, at Millersville right now finishing up my last year. Thought about getting my LTCF but in bushkill township you need to talk to the sheriff or i forget who it is. My gramps said it would be tough to have him give it to me. Any help on this? Anyways I've been shooting at stockertown or belfast since I was little. Its difficult finding a place here at school they are so expensive.

Buskill Twsp is Northampton County. Go to the courthouse and fill out an application and pay the $35. I'm curious as to why your grandfather thinks it would be "tough". Do you have some type of "record"?

No I don't at all besides speeding tickets and the like. I guess when he got his before you go to the county court house the bushkill township head of police has to sign off on something. I think over thanksgiving I'll just go to the courthouse and do it. I think he believes a 21 yr old will have a tough time convincing someone to carry. Thanks for the info.

The laws have changed over the years. Now all you need is a clean record*, be at least 21, a properly filled out application, and $35.

*Note: By clean record, I am refering to no disqualifiers such as drug offenses, felonies, etc..

There's nothing to convince. If you're 21 and over, and not prohibited, you'll get it. Go to the courthouse in Easton, it takes 15 minutes and there is no interview. But they do mail out the licenses, which takes about 3 weeks.
