I am in for the DIAS. I do not like the SWD lightning link. I think that overall its a better choice. If the sear breaks or wears down just replace it. If the RR breaks....get the welder and pray that is works

Its a dedicated 22 lower. It was just to show that receivers break.

That looks like a Carl Walther made 22lr gun made for Colt using their name. Those lowers are die cast aluminum and I don't know how they compare to standard full power rifle receivers. However, it is possible to break just about anything. See the American Rifleman magazine write up in the Sept 09 issue.

So, I decided to go for the DIAS, but I found out this weekend it's no longer available. Maybe that's a good thing since it was the price of a gently used car. If the economy stays how it is, prices might come down a little more so maybe I'll just see about buying something down the road.
