Finding a "legal" Glock 18 will be a challenge.
The gun has to have been manufactured before 1986 to be transferable to a civilian

You can own any class 3 in any county. If the CLEO wont sign for you; form a trust,LLC or Corp. GLOCK and roll, i have a post sear for the glock and what a blast it is to shoot. 2 sec mag dumps in a G22. Does tend to get a little expensive and you need a loading tool to save the fingers.

You have several choices for CLEO signatures besides forming a corporation.

You can have your township or city police chief sign it (people have told me some absolutely will not in Allegheny county) still your best choice IF you have one or you can get the acting Allegheny county sheriff William Mullen sign it.

There is also the option of your local Magistrate or local judge having jurisdiction over where you live signing it also.

Call acting sheriff Mullen, to see if he will sign it, he is running for election in Nov 2007. Note have him to sign it before the election. All people running for public office are pretty helpful 4-6 months prior to their elections after that LOL.

Allegheny county sheriff William Mullen email is WMullen@court.allegheny.pa.us or call sheriff office at 412-350-4719

IF you contact acting sheriff Mullen and IF he refuses to sign PLEASE contact Allegheny County Sportsmen League Legislative Chairman ASAP with all the details.
