Question Can you get a Class 3, with misdemeanors on record

A few years back I led a nefarious life style. I had been arrested for criminal trespass, which led to ARD and was later expunged from my record. I have had 2 first offenses of misdemeanor DUI(something to do with length of time between them, and when the law was changed). The 2 DUI are really the only thing on my record and occurred 6 years apart, and that was over 9 years ago. And I received a citation after a fight one time which was later dismissed.

To quote Hank Williams Jr., All my rowdy friends have settled down.

I think that would sound like alot to people who are never in any type of trouble, but seriously I have known guys who were a one first name basis the local PD.

Do any y'all know, would these things preclude me from owning a class 3 weapon?

That avatar probably won't help! (wink)

Sorry, needed to get that out of my system! I'm sure you'll get some (real) help with your question here before too long.

If you are able to purchase a Title I (normal) firearm, you should be able to purchase NFA. I don't believe the actual criminal history check is any different, there's just a lot more paperwork.
