I just called the NFA Branch, and finally got some good news..

HK UMC/UMP (SBR)

Form 1 Paper work sent - 1/5/09
Paper work received by ATF- 1/6/09
Check Cleared - 1/14/09
Pending - 3/11/09 (Examiner - Nancy Flannigan)

That's great news! Especially since my paperwork went in on the same day. I promised myself I'd try not to think about it or start calling them until mid-April or so. If yours goes approved anytime soon I'm sure I'll break that though.

10. Examiner Name: Bill Shipman........it will be interesting to see when the form actually gets back here......

I had Bill Shipman on my SBR lowers from my dealer, and I will most likely get him on my SBS. My dealer told me that each examiner is assigned a letter or a few letters. My dealers name begins with J, so Bill Shipman handles all of the J's.
Man, he is sloooooooow.
It will probably take a good month to get your stamp from the date of approval.
It took me right past the 30 day mark with him.

I am hoping not.....but I am ready for the wait. I guess he does K's as well. All of my stuff is ready to go and sitting at my FFL....so it is now all in his hands. Oh just wait and see what I did...hehehe!!!

I called the ATF and got my own good news today, my application went pending on the 17th!!! April can't come soon enough.
