yes you can have full auto parts with your gun as long as the reciever is S/A...
The receiver is considered the "gun" the other parts are just chunks of metal...

Thanks

the "full auto parts kits" are merely full auto guns cut up for parts kits.
when building a gun from those kits, unless you are a licensed manufacturer, able to build full auto guns, the full auto parts will be discarded when making a semi auto rifle, and replaced with semi auto fire control parts. so the "full auto parts kits" cant be built into a legal full autos for non MFG, LE/Mil/Govt use...the FA parts kit language is just a big advertising bit.

I think you are talking about FTF industries. For some odd reason, they make it a special advertising point that their kits include FA parts in them...well nearly all kits include those parts because they were demilled from select fire weapons. There is nothing special about it.
They also overcharge, and seem to do it based on the "full auto" parts. A kit you buy off of Gunbroker will also have them. You can have the parts sent with the kit, I usually just throw them out. If you're looking for a kit, stay away from FTF. Just get it from somewhere else or from a seller on one of the auction sites. |

Please don't throw out your F/A parts... I will take your triggers, hammers, disconnectors and springs... I build pistols and use them since they don't have to be 922r compliant

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I sell the original FCG, but I throw out the full auto parts, which are not the trigger, hammer, or disconnector. I reuse the disconnector spring.

Mine came last week. Would you like to see the disconnector or the bolt carrier to verify?

Even if you build pistols, you would have no use for those parts because you are still using a aftermarket semi auto receiver without the third pin drilled, where those parts would be in use. The bolt carrier can be reused, and so can your original FCG if you find some other way around compliance. |
