Default NFA Owners Assocation

From About the NFAOA:

"The NFA Owners Association is a group of NFA firearms enthusiasts dedicated to reforming Federal law on firearms regulated under the National Firearms Act of 1934."

We are in the early stages of organization, and as such, our website is currently a limited source of information. Some of our proposed goals include:
  • Prevent the ITAR fee increase from $600 to $1750
  • Passage of the Veterans Heritage Firearms Act
  • Fix the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record (NFRTR) system
  • Reform irrational laws such as those pertaining to an AOW classification
  • Repeal laws restricting reimportation of historical overseas military equipment
  • Repeal the alleged "law" preventing the importation of gun barrels
  • Repeal the ruling requiring imported parts kit receivers to be cut four times
  • Relax or eliminate the CLEO signature requirement
  • Repeal of Title 18 Section 922 Paragraph (o) forbidding the manufacture of new firearms
I highly recommend anyone who deals in, collects or owns NFA items (or even guns in general) join the NFAOA forum and participate in any way you can. It is groups like these who help protect what we have and hopefully regain some of the ground we have lost.

I routinely see the same questions about class three. If people would venture to the NFAOA and research there question they would be more informed. The problem with asking for information on class three with out going to the source it sometimes Get's let's say confusing or maybe misinformed. Dan was nice enough to give us A link to the NFAOA and they are always looking for good people to visit and get informed.Don't be afraid to go there and ask questions that is how you will become informed correctly and then not be scared off.Class three is A great thing and you should not be afraid to get into it.
