ATF received my form 4 last week... I'm sitting here now watching son of guns... And it dawns on me that when my dealer filled out my form
4 he put the wrong manufacturer and manufacturer address... He put Silencerco instead of SWR..... Aghhh now what??!! I'll call him tomorrow... I know the serial number is correct and it does say spectre.... Just sliencerco spectre........ Idk how I remembered this or even thought of it but dammit/too late!!!

You can call the BATFE NFA branch on Monday, explain the issue and ask them the course of action.

In the past I have submitted a F4 that had information transposed between 2 different locations. When I received the F4 back approved there was simply a note on the back (there's a section for it) that stated space X and space Y were transposed. It's possible that they may just make note of the discrepancy on the back with the correct information. One of the other options is that they will send the forms back to you (or your dealer) with a cover sheet indicating the discrepancy and a new set of F4's to be filled out and signed again then mailed back to your examiner.

I could see it going either way but it's not really a problem, mistakes happen.

Thanks medic.... Very helpful... I did use a trust so if I
Have to resend forms it will be easy... I guess I'll have to correct my trust to reflect the proper manufacturer in my inventory list as well...

I made a mistake once and the examiner sent them back for correction but I was told this would not hold up the processing schedule. I guess since you are only a week in and it now takes 5-6 months that wouldn't even really matter much.

Well as it turns out all the info is correct... Apparently SWR was bought out by silencerco... Shows what I know in the world of silencers.... Yay!!! No mistakes!! And the ATF told me there is currently a 2 month wait..!!

I think they open the envelope and dig around for the check, then immediately close it and throw it in a huge pile.

Kind of like when a kid gets a birthday card in the mail from the grandparents, and shakes it to see if money falls out.

Oh! I thought you already knew that though I was not sure if they had changed their markings to reflect SWR or SilencerCo on the items that were previously SWR products.

That is EXACTLY what they do! Get their greedy little mitts on the money and then make you WAIT WAIT WAIT!
