finally again

Now that I have more time I'm giving more info all of which is right on the tax stamp. I really can't read the last name of the examiner. I'll check back on previous posts and see if I can identify her. ""edit"" DUDASH, fixed it..

It was 6 days between dates when they cashed checks and 6 days difference between arrival times. Probably just by chance that happened but whoooo knows for sure.

Now it's time to finish the SBR. Should take me a week or so. I'll post pics when i'm finished.

The Coastal 9mm suppressor is real quiet. I'm happy with it.

It's about time but well worth the wait.

Oh jeeeze, I quoted myself

Sweet! My check was cashed the day after your SBR form 1 was, so hopefully it will be here soon!

I just looked on NFA tracker and it looks like the last form that was approved by Nicole Dutash was on January 19th. That was a form 1 that went pending on August 9th. That puts it at 20 days before my form. Add 20 days to January 19th and you get February 8th.

So my official prediction for approval is February 8th. We'll see how close I am.

Hate to say "I told you so," but I received my form on the 8th.

I don't know the actual approval date yet because I'm out of town; my wife is the one who got the mail and saw that it came. I'm assuming it was approved a few days prior, which makes my prediction pretty close! I'm having her call me when she gets home tonight to check and see when the approval date was.

ETA: It was approved on the 3rd, so my prediction was within five days. The real test will be predicting it from the start though. I'll try again once I send in my next form 4.

Here's all the data for the form I just received:

Type: SBS
Method: Trust
Sent: 8/8/2011
Check cashed: 8/17/2011
Pending: 8/29/2011
Approved: 2/3/2012
Examiner: Nichole Dutash
Tax stamp received: 2/8/2012

Just realized, that puts it at 6 months exactly from mailbox to mailbox.

Does anyone know if a form 4 going from an individual to a class III dealer will go any faster than a form 4 going to an individual? I'm hoping it will be treated like a form 3 and be approved in weeks instead of months.

Highly doubtful. :-(

I hope your MAC comes soon though!

F3's are atrociously slow right now as well. I'm still waiting on stuff from Dec.
