I don't want to change the subject here, but that particular asshole didn't have a dishonorable discharge. He had an entry level separation, which is not the same as a DD and is not prohibiting.

ORLANDO, Fla. — A man who was in an Orlando office when a former employee came in and started shooting says the ordeal that left one dead and five injured lasted about a minute.

Mark Davidson, a vice president at the engineering firm Reynolds, Smith and Hills, said Monday that his co-workers stayed calm Friday and didn't scream as Jason Rodriguez entered a reception area of the eighth-floor office and began shooting.

Rodriguez has been charged with first-degree murder.

Orlando Police Chief Val Demings says more charges are expected.

An attorney for Rodriguez has portrayed the 40-year-old as a mentally ill man who fell victim to countless personal and financial problems.

That really makes you glad that the police are five to sixty minutes away, huh?

It really makes you think twice about carrying at work, even if there are policies against it. In this age of layoffs, how many other wackos are there out there with financial problems and a burning desire to retaliate against former employers (and the employees)?

We can't give him a chance. Because he did not give his victims a chance. He went into his former employers building, knowing that the people there would be unarmed because they abide by the law, and he cowardly opened fire on an unarmed captive audience. I don't know about you, but I for one refuse to volunteer to be a victim just so that we can study the minds of these sick cowards that can't man up and deal with their problems without killing innocents. I will give him a chance, the exact same chance that he gave his victims.

What do you expect him to say? "I went into work 2 years after they fired me and everyone attacked me, it was self defense."

I'm not sure what exactly you want me to give him a chance for, the fucking idiot took a firearm into a former place of employment and shot 8 people. If it was up to me he would have been dead the second he stepped out of his mothers doorway.
