I wonder if it was the companion that shot her or someone else?

Just from the short blurb I've read there are a lot of questions I would be asking in this case.

There are just to many coincedences or it appears to be.

main witness in a rape case is usually the victim. could have been an accident, or could have been "jersey defense". gotta be careful who you hunt with, and who they owe favours to.

Sounded like the 911 caller did not know exactly where they were and 911 had to triangulate the exact location before anyone could gain access and assess the situation. Based on the dispatch info I was hearing (over the radio, no I was not on this incident) she was alive on initial 911 call but it sounds like a giant mess. The location that this happened in is a less traveled area and is about 15 miles from the closes ambulance (which translates roughly to a 25-30 min response on those roads.

This is horrible, I hope justice is served...

I think I agree with others that this was no accident.

I believe that poor girl were executed and the hunting companion knows more about it than they are letting on, but ofcourse the detectives already knows this, only the hunting companion would know for sure exactly where she were going to be at a specific timeframe, did the hunting companion have a cellphone on him/her? Crucial, the girl isnt even buried yet but already they are talking about dropping the case against the alleged rapist? Seem like the plan worked- for now.

Or...maybe there is no conspiracy...and it was just a hunting accident?

This could be true, but there are a lot of coincedences here.

I can only assume they (the LEO's) will find the truth. That is only an assumption though.
