G/F told me about this, but is anyone surprised? I'm not... She was saying the cop and the man were wrestling with each other and it took the bus driver to get the gun from the guy after the cop had him pinned down and finally dropped the pistol.
http://cbs3.com/local/septa.gun.arrest.2.746042.html PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― A man was arrested Tuesday after an altercation with a police officer on a SEPTA bus which involved a gun. Police say Sorrell Groves, 27, was sitting in the back of the bus with the gun, when a man that had just gotten off the bus flagged down the officer and told him that Groves had a gun. When the police officer boarded the bus and approached Groves, a struggle ensued and the officer was able to get the gun away from Groves. Once arrested, police found that Groves was wearing a bullet-proof vest. Groves was charged with a number of crimes, including attempted murder and aggravated assault.

Any time you wear a bullet proof vest when you commit a crime (like resisting a police officer) you're f-ed.
