Great, now I need an sks.
Grace -92% of gun owners support his views the other 8% called in to set him straight. That one caller from Philly sounded high on crack. |

Pretty much all I took from this is that the SKS is the baddest military rifle ever devised. All of you AR/M16 guys might want to rethink your perspective. I thought it was a heavy, relatively inaccurate 10 round piece of history, but Mr. Grace has convinced me otherwise. As for the lost/stolen car analogy, can anyone show me a case where not reporting your car stolen was a summary offense?

The file is 791 Mb in size. It's huge. Please only start downloading it if you're going to finish it.
Linkage:: PCN.avi EDIT:: How about we get this thing hosted on Youtube?

Just wondering why, in this interview a few times, Kim refers to a LTCF as a concealed carry permit?

Public consumption? Considering that the vast majority of the people have no clue what an LTCF is but thanks to TV they have all heard of a concealed carry permit I would guess that would be the major reason that he chose that term.

I'm listening to this debate on the PCN feed. I'm hoping to get some help from you guys / gals on here, as I'm having some confusion.
The one thing that I do believe which will be troublesome to a lot of people is the objection to a requirement that if you become aware that you handgun is lost or stolen, that you report the situation. Initially, it sounded like Kim was describing a lot of boot strapping other stuff onto the potential law. Is there also a concern that prosecutors would question when you "should have known" about the theft and coming after you in any event? I would think that if someone steals a gun from me, I WOULD probably tell the authorities, as god forbid they use it to burglarize my neighbor and kill them, and if my firearm is in the database, I'm in for a world of headache. What is the objectionable aspect of this type of reporting requirement, if it would include clear language that such report would not be used to prejudice the individual's future rights. Another thing that crosses my mind is that if someone is losing or having a number of weapons stolen, I'm not sure if I don't start having some questions about that individual and their responsibility. Anyway, thanks in advance for any thoughts. |
