Lost and Stolen guns . . . Tell me again how that would help solve any problem with the criminal element?

We already bar felons and other citizens for specific reasons from possessing a firearm.

We already criminalize buying a gun on someone else's behalf in the form of a straw purchase.

What will one more law, especially this law, accomplish?

Gov. Rendell, Mayor Nutter and Ceasefire PA complain that those laws aren't sufficient to stop crime, or prevent criminals from acquiring firearms. They claim when they discover a firearm used in a crime, the original purchaser often asserts it was lost or stolen. How does this law remedy that situation? Why would a would be gun trafficker not simply claim he failed to notice the gun was stolen, and enjoy that protection under the proposed law?
I would like to know what our state legislature is doing about the heinous and oft committed crimes of introducing unconstitutional and unethical law into our State.

It seems like the laws we have on the books are not working. We already criminalize acting unconstitutionally, but these criminals are not getting the picture.

I expect our legislators to pass new laws that will help stop and catch these criminals performing the unsavory and unconstitutional acts of introducing, enforcing, and upholding unconstitutional law!

My sincere apology Kaos for not mentioning your contribution back on post # 60 something. What’s different about PAFOA, a 10 page thread would be unusually large on most forums, on PAFOA it’s the almost the norm on hot topic subjects like this. I really don't have the time to read lots of excellent post or comments that many of you make.

Why I am thank Kaos, or anyone else that i missed, I would also like to thank everyone else contribution on PAFOA that get involved, including DanP and Doug hosting PAFOA along with all the PAFOA moderators help to operate as a information clearing house on firearm related issues in PA. You all would be surprised how the email / snail mail sent by PAFOA member affect the old way political structure in Harrisburg. They are not use to having regular Citizens involvement in the process, just the usual high priced paid mercenaries like this Joe Grace lobbying them with deep pockets to BUY public support to influence the political outcome.

Kim Stolfer is just one person like anyone is, anyone one single PAFOA can also have a tremendous impact on the preservation of our firearm rights, all you have to do is to decide to get involved.

A big THANK YOU to all of you on PAFOA that do get in battle, and have an impact on the fight for the future of individual Constitutional rights protection.

Thanks for uploading this. You might want to consider chopping it into smaller files, however, to make it easier for people to download and view.

My thanks to all the PAFOA members for their support and well thought out comments!

You are all aware of exactly what's been going on in Harrisburg. You should know that what you can see is going on is but the mere tip of the iceberg. I want to emphasize that the only thing that has stopped Rendell and his juggernaut of gun control is the involvement of the average gunowner and citizen. All the phone calls, e-mails, faxes and letters has shaken the foundations of those who thought we would roll over and play dead.

My decision to participate in the PCN show on gun laws was part of our broader strategy to confront these groups whenever they surface and force them to explain themselves publicly. On the show Joe Grace accused me of making this personal and he was absolutely accurate as the position of cease-fire PA, Joe Grace and all the other anti-gunners on our freedoms is a personal affront to all of the men and women who have defended our nation throughout our history.

I also want to point out that these shows have a particular way of structuring the discussion in my comments and points were geared not to debate the technical aspects of gun control but to show the hypocrisy of Joe Grace and cease-fire PA. I greatly appreciated all of the callers who seem to focus on Joe Grace and his position on the issues (we call him quicksand Joe). These shows are a careful balancing act of fact, emotion, and strategy on how you approach issues as well as the tactical timing of any confrontations. I will not allow lies to go unchallenged if I can help it in any way!

The election and legislative activities have kept me enormously busy but I wanted to take a moment on this important holiday weekend to thank all of you for your contributions in defense of our freedoms.

Pennsylvania is on the front lines of the gun control fight as evidenced by the donation of $350,000 by the Joyce foundation to cease-fire PA just this past week. I would also point out that it is no mistake that this announcement was done in Pittsburgh as the anti-gunners have stated repeatedly that they believe the western part of the Pennsylvania is where the bulk of opposition comes from on gun control. It is my deep desire to prove to them that all Pennsylvanians share a common bond and belief in article 1 section 21.

Thank you again! Semper Fi!

It was funny, my wife, while not anti-gun, does not share my interest or passion for firearms. She was watching the show with me and about half way through she gets up, and walks out. As she does I ask why she is leaving, and she says "That Joe guy is a comple and utter asshole, I can't listen to the idiot anymore". This from someone who is not as hard core involved in the activism as most of us. So it would appear that his appearance hurt their cause more than helped it.

Well done Kim. I think you did a great job. It seemed like Joe Grace's whole and only argument to counter you was that police officer in Philadelphia that was murdered.
