Default HB40 Passed, HB1044 and HB1045 shot down

I just heard on KYW that HB40, which modifies PA's "Castle Doctrine" laws and removes the duty to retreat, has been passed. Also, HB1044 and 1045, which would allow localities to enact their own gun control laws and would ban the distribution of AK-47's (according to the radio bit) respectively, were shot down. They did not mention 1043.

    Now, what's the next step?

All the recent activity and updates have been posted in there, as well as the current COA.

But it hasn't been passed yet... it only made it out of committee.

Actually it was nice that you posted a simple, straight forward thread beginning on today events vs searching through page after page of crap looking for the actual results!!!

Yea, it's becoming very hard to sift through all of those pages of discussion to find exactly what you're looking for.

HB1043/1044/1045 is done. And does it have a slim to none chance of coming back?

It will be re-introduced in another bill most likely in one shape or another, the fight against the anti's never ends.

Great to hear the other three got shot down, especially the assault weapon ban. However no one has answer this question, it still has to get signed by the house, senate, and governor right?

87 pages is a lot for a thread. I assumed someone would make a new one with all the details of what happened, and what's next. Can we get that?

The next step is appropriations. While the other thread is long, and you have to do some sifting, there is a lot of good and accurate info contained in it.
