Yes, because there are no examples of anything similar happening, where PAFOA had any collective response. So we have zero data to support a conclusion that a law-abiding person who stands his ground and defies police will be shunned here, while we have multiple examples of a consensus of positive support in such a case.
If police came door to door and demanded my guns, without a warrant, my response (through a locked door) would be, "The Hell you say." As a general policy, I will protect my home from all unlawful intrusions, using the degree of force allowed by law and appropriate to the circumstances. Police are free to knock on my door and request my guns, my books, my Bible, and perhaps a few self-incriminating statements. And I'm free to say "no".

All these people on here defend cops and government contractors saying "Oh no, you're wrong, they'll see the light and join up with the citizenry, you'll see"... I can almost guarantee it will be a showdown of us vs. them because these power tripping fuckers want to be tough...
Also I wouldn't turn on someone who protected their right to own and keep a firearm in a time of civil unrest, I'd sing their praises, make banners and shirts... For the D bags that were stupid enough to try and take them from him...piss on them honestly... |

It aint just weed. There are people that say if you have a protection order or got caught carrying in a car without LTCF then you should turn over your guns when the cops come. The moral equivalent of two armed robberies I suppose. You broke the law! Unless it was Delaware, then you are probably OK.
But, when the next law is passed, then they'll have to take them from my cold dead hands. Yeah, right. |

When you begin to think of your rights as gifts of the court and just give them up to get them back at the whim of a judge did you really even have the rights to begin with? If we have the mentality to just surrender and get another gun what is say one day that you get your guns taken and then you can't just go out and get another gun? If your right to bear arms is not inalienable or inherent then it can be taken on a whim of those in power. IMO, this line of thinking is antithetical to the very existence of our constitutional rights.

if you fight LE, you will die and the government will spend billions to make sure you and you rights never even existed. this isn't America anymore our new name should be "land of the too damned passive for their own good" we won't win unless we all stand up at the same time but too many people are worried about next years cruise vacation or getting a new car and shit like that.

only if your death motivates the next citizen to do as you did, but it will not happen that way. more than likely they will make you look like some kind of insane maniac and put bodies in your basement making your death a victory for the welfare of all Americans. rendering your truly honorable death pointless for your cause. we are fucked in the rights department.

While I agree with that statement, let me add this to the mix. Would you comply knowing you could resolve this in court, or fight several police, national guard who will treat you and anyone in your house, (your kids included), and possible kill them. When you have young children that scenerio is always on ones mind.
