Better buy all the guns you can now then. Wait till they move it along to "if you have ever been in counseling or seen a psychiatrist" That will be a quick back door way to remove a lot of guns from a lot of good people.

Hogwash! I can't believe the NRA is actually supporting this.

A whole bunch of old vets I know have been to psychologists short term nothing big.

Well if this were to pass... Get ready for a civil war, they aren't taking my guns but well, the old vets I know would actively pursue them not taking their guns. More so the old timers who will see this as actively destroying the constitution.

But this is could effect even more than just buying guns.

Aren't LTC permits are issued using the same system?

nice thats doctor patient confidentiality to the max right there! better hope your doctor isnt anti gun!

I'm not very good at this type of thing, but maybe some of the well spoken types could write up a letter we could start sending to the NRA telling them how basically if they keep this stuff up we will not be nra supporters anylonger

Who has the info as to what constitutes someone to be flagged?
If seeing a shrink or taking Prozac is a crime 3/4 of the country is ineligible.

Absolutely. If you can't buy a firearm you sure as heck can't get a LTCF.

That may be the actual intent of this bill.

ETA: Bubba beat me to it, but...

DING! DING! DING!
We have a winner folks!

This is an anti-gunners DREAM! They have found a way to strip your rights using PRECISELY the "treatment" they (leftist-libs) PUSH on everyone!

"Mr. Smith, I think you would benefit from speaking to a professional..."
(Wahh-Haa-Ha-Ha! Another one in the system! This is gonna be SO EASY!!!)
