You have to be pretty damn naive to think for one second he cares a whit about anyone besides himself.

There ya go... you were off on a tangent for a while but now it makes sense.

Things could get interesting in the next few weeks. I remember this being brought up during the campaign.

Supporting the right for people to own firearms is not the single only requirement or litmus test for someone to be president..

They actually have to other qualities in addition to this.

All I have to say is she's a chicken. She can't stand the criticisms shes getting whether real or not so she runs for the hills. Her excuse is she's a 'lame duck', well wasn't Bush considered a 'lame duck'? How would it have played out if he stuck his head in the sand and ran away? She has lost any credibility to run for President, who in their right mind would vote for someone that ran away when the heat in the kitchen got hot. She's signed her own political death sentence.

I agree that she lost credibility and I personally don't think that part matters. I really don't believe she would have done well running anyway because she is not well versed in much of what is required... (sort of like our current assclown)

I disagree with the "chicken" part. I think she is moving on because whether folks agree or disagree, she has a history of being just a common person who did try to do what she felt was right for her town and state. Once she was thrust into the spotlight, it became viciously personal and political. Sure, you have small town politics at the state level but that is nothing like the attacks she is going through now. If you sit there all day and defend made up attacks (all which have turned out to be untrue up to this point) while trying to raise a family, how could you keep your cool? Personally, I would have kicked someone's ass by now. I know you and DC would as well. She is right that if you are spending all your time fighting that, you become a distraction.

IMO - Palin would never become president but does not deserve all the personal bitterness towards her. The personal attacks I have read in this thread are unwarranted. I would agree with those who feel she is unqualified though. I would be rather happy if Ron Paul was President, and my state was in the hands of Palin and Nuggent.

I can understand her frustrations but isn't running away the wrong thing to do? If she hasn't done anything wrong then it will come out in her favor in the long run. It will prove that the MSM has been out to get her and her political standing will be greater from her putting up with their crap.

Like I said I can understand why, but it was political suicide doing what she did.

I absolutely agree. She, as well as her children, has been vilified by the liberal left, as well as RINO's under the guise of conservatism.

Well here they are, all dismissed; and only one time she is paying back money, not times. Don't kids often travel with politicians who are parents anyways, especially when under 18?

I think perhaps you aren't quite as informed as you think.

Now that's not to say that there isn't something more serious going on that hasn't been reported by a reputable news organization yet, but then again we know the history of reputable news organizations accurately reporting anything to do with Palin anyways.
