I simply cannot imagine that.... God is infinite, we are finite. That's why you can't imagine that. Faith is substance not seen. When I put my TRUST, which is faith, in Jesus Christ, what he did on the CROSS for my sins... is when I sensed His presense, and how I look at life, and things that I couldn't(past tense) IMAGINE, became KNOWN. It is possible. But I can't make you understand What I understand... only God can do that. We are all sinners...
and can be saved by grace...God grace. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qc-mrJf45Hg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjAegPhQOUg All of the Abrahamic religions, and many more, is nothing more than ancient astrological metaphors warped into an oppressive belief system. Why can't people separate god and religion? All you religious folk are lucky god does not suffer from human emotion. Cuz if it did, it would wipe all of us out for insulting it by stuffing it in a tinee-tiny little book(s). I mean, it created existence itself, and humanity sticks it in a book and claims it is on their side. That is ridiculous. Anyhoo, I personally believe that the memorial should not have been covered up. Simply for historical reasons.

Being outraged by a video created specifically to evoke emotion on one end of the isle on this issue is ... well, not really how I would expend my energy. Unless you can truly separate your religious belief out of the question at hand, I don't think you can ever be objective in debating this.
That said, I think it's a ridiculous thing to ask for the cross to be removed. It's NOT a religious memorial, it's a war memorial. It's a historic memorial and the cross represents the loss of lives and all the remembrance of ALL those who laid down their lives. The cross has culturally been recognized, as I perceived it anyway, to represent loss in a memorial, not of the Christ specifically. I truly believe is the separation of church and state, but subjective measures need to be taken into considerations, on a per case basis, when historical value comes into conflict with the separation. I believe there have been many cases where religious symbol are allowed on government properties because of historical values without any forceful messages. I think this is one of those specific cases. Al PS: I'm a Buddhist. |

God created all. Each being or cell has it's own DNA, which my man is very deep. Evolution is a crock, because it's theorys can not be proven. Niether can Gods other than faith, which is a substanse not seen. Faith in Jesus Christ CHANGES lives. All the other stuff doesn't, religion, any religion, money, sex, booze, a good job, being a nice person, exercising, going tochurch, giving your money to the poor, etc... etc.. etc... none can please God but faith.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever STATE I am, therewith to be content.
