Although its uncalled for to have the taxpayer pay for this.

Association member Bill Jackowitz said bolstering a retail business may not provide a real economic boost. He cited research from the state Department of Labor and Industry that showed 111,000 full-time retail employees in the state earn approximately $17,000 per year, netting about $1,000 per month.

I guess that will help everyone get second jobs because they won't be able to afford what they are living on currently

I'm in. Pitchforks and torches. This shit is really pissing me off. I am tired of living responsibly when idiots are getting off the hook. How much did Al make when he stepped down? Didn't he sell it to his nephew? I'm about this close || to maxing my credit cards on guns, ammo, and food and then whining about not being able to make my payments.

Interesting google exercise...

Check out how many $$$ worth of companies and other assets Citi has purchased in the last couple years.

If you're in trouble no SELL THESE ASSETS CITI.

I mean WTF USA? This is a corp, that has the means to fix itself.
If not then it should go out of biz. We're doomed.

The articles say $35 million but the thread title says $50 million. Which is it? Either way it just pissed me right the **** off this morning.

Sorry for confusion. There was an original press article that reported it as a $50 million total bailout. It looks like the unofficial Boscov bailout total now from PA and NJ is about $48.

Rendell gave Boscov $35 Million out of PA, and separately Scranton and Wilkes Barre gave them 3 million each, and other PA cities were mentioned as possibilities, and NJ counties Atlantic City and Vineland have mentioned about 7-8 million, all so Mr Boscov can keep his stores.

There is a pattern and common denominator among those both receiving and giving away the billions and now trillions in bailout money and I'll call it cronyism to be polite, but in the end it is an outrageous scam on all Americans.
