Ron is still getting my vote.

I will not lend my vote as approval of the two party system.

I feel Ron Paul would be the best choice, However, in the face of the consequences, I have to go with the least commie this year.
I hope Rep. Paul will get the support and respect he deserves in 2012.

"Barrack" (with 2 "R"s) is a word that denotes a military housing unit.
"Barack" (with 1 "R") is Obama's first-name.

Thank you Pector55, that is classic.

Unfortunately, I can't edit the poll portion. (Can a Mod Help???) I think everyone here knows who we are talking about. Sorry for the typo, awkx. It just goes to show you how much I have NOT been paying attention to him.

Ron Paul in a heartbeat.. Though I would really want to see a step by step process about how he would be able to change the system so drastically without it crashing down..

I think that really hurt him in the polls.. To have those type of goals makes people scared.

None of them. They are ALL part of the problem. Even Dr. Paul who has things right, is trying to garner power by playing in the two party system. If I truly had a choice I don't know who I would choose. Out of just those three if Paul had garnered roughly 25% of the vote I would probably vote for him, but I think he is still part of the problem. If he was truly dedicated to an end to the two party system he would not retain his Republican registration. I want to see him reject the two party system before I do as he suggests. I've never been good with the whole do as I say not as I do thing.

If those are the only choices I would still have to do what I am planning to do on the 4th of next month, hold my nose and vote for McCain. I don't think I have to explain why I wouldn't vote for Obama. Paul on the other hand is, IMHO, a hypocrite of the highest level. He couldn't win the presidential election as a Libertarian, can't win a congressional seat as a Libertarian, so he changes parties. Some would point out that he was a Republican, changed to Libertarian, and then changed back. Still the same in my book, if you are so pissed at the party that you belong to that you feel you have to change affiliations there is no honor in changing back.
