Holy shit! You are not kidding dude. I read a bunch of MSM sites and blogs. That's the first I heard of that. Hell, I want bailed out too.

I'm TRYING to keep up with the news but its happening so damn fast its tough! I actually found this over at the Kitco forum, shocked the HELL out of me. I had just said to the wife about an hour ago that with all this other bail out nonsense going on Detroit didn't have a hope in hell ... so much for that theory!

The scary part is 99% of the world will NEVER know this has happened because of all the other news, amazing how they can bury a $25 billion story in a heavy news cycle!

more info from michelle on this...it has come to this: the death of personal responsibility...

Amazing isn't it ... we the taxpayers just seem to be a bottomless pit of equity for big business and their stupid decisions.

I am so DONE with this shit. I can't care anymore. I keep getting kicked in the teeth. I am having a hard time not stapling my tin foil hat to my head and charging off into the woods to live. I am sick of this shit. Why pay taxes anymore? Why pay my bills? Beck is on ranting about the "Forgotten Man" being US. I just feel defeated today. Newt has a great plan for the economy. I would love to follow his plan. Stop the bailouts. Eliminate the Capital Gains tax, open the way for companies to drill the hell out of our country, mine the shit out of this place, harvest the wind, water, and solar power and fuck the bats, fish, and desert critters. If they can't adapt to a changing environment they don't deserve to survive.

I've said this before, but maybe we deserve what is coming our way. Maybe you and I haven't done our duty to keep others informed and motivated enough to keep this experiment going. Maybe it is time to just let what comes come. Maybe we just need to hunker down so we can pick up the pieces.

The only message they will understand is money. I think it's time to sell all government savings bonds and take all money out of the banking system. Maybe that would get their attention...
