Sen. John McCain has chosen Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his vice-presidential candidate on the Republican ticket for the White House, CNN has learned. The 44-year-old Palin, now in her first term as governor, is a pioneering figure in Alaska, the first woman and the youngest person to hold the state's top political job.

After Barry's speach last night making me crap myself in fear I may find myself more able to pull the McCain lever in November if she is as solid as she seems.

Wow we`ve got all bases covered. Dems have the black male and a middle aged white guy and Republicans have a senior citizen and a female. The trump card for us would have been C. Rice that would have given us the senior plus the female PLUS the race card.
Oh but we still have a POW/Veteran plus he has a handicap(arm)

FYI Guys.. Palin is a lifelong member of the NRA. She goes hunting and fishing, has exposed corruption in her own party, cut expenses, and won some beauty pageant back in 84. Beyond VP, she is awesome! She was the best pick in my opinion because she represents core conservative values and not just a cut taxes/ spend more philosophy.
