You know the Democrats and their parrot media have to be sh*tting their pants when the Republican's VP candidate has more experience than their Presidential candidate.

I'm not sure. I think they will continue to attack her to try to be the only rock stars. There are many states which are within +/-3-5 pts so this may be a tight election unless someone does something really stupid or some more dirt can be dug up somewhere.

Interestingly, McCain was gaining ground, then between the convention and announcing a VP which the majority of people were not familar with, Obama pulled away a little. I believe she will definitely get some on the right to come out to vote but am not sure how well she will pull a lot of independents. This might just come down to the debates.

Hope you all got to watch her speech tonight, she was outstanding! Not only did she solidify herself with the Republican party, she out and out bashed the competition into the ground. I loved the "after he parts the waters and cures the planet" comment.

I saw it, and I LMAO when I saw it. I also liked the joke about the hockey moms and bulldogs.

Agreed, Guiliani was in top form. I love that he had the cajones to call out the media over their questioning her capability to be a VP because of her kids, a question they likely wouldn't have asked if she were a man.

Yup. I do think she was a little light on policy details, but in the end that's really for McCain to address.

I just watched Sarah Palins speech, all I can say is, I am very interested to see how this play's out. So far I like what she has to say, not so sure I trust McCain..... I have always wished that presidential candidates would sign a contract that they would legally have to stick to their word on the things that they promise us if they get elected...... (like that will ever happen).

Heh Heh Heh... I laughed my evil, conservative ass off at that one.

I only saw her speak. I just got in when she was taking the stage.
I'm glad I watched it.

At this moment, I don't care if the left-nut bloggers say all of her children were born of unwed crack whores, and her entire family was fabricated for a "perfect family" photo op, I'm gonna have to say that she sent shivers up their spineless backs.

I just got a McCain yard sign tonight. I need to trade it in for a McCain/Palin sign, pronto.

Obama lost 4 points when he announced Biden as his VP and McCain lost 3 points when he announced Palin. I'm not worried.

Anyone else notice that CNN labeled McCain as the Democratic Nominee when AZ cast their votes?
