From what I read yes IANAL.

`(2) Paragraph (1) shall not apply to the possession or transfer of any large capacity ammunition feeding device otherwise lawfully possessed on or before the date of the enactment of this subsection.

^^^^^Don't forget this line^^^^^

Does anyone else see the irony in these bills? Every time they pop up, a lot of people who have been putting off the purchase of an AK or AR, seem to step up their purchases of these firearms in order to get one or 5 or 10 before they can't. This creates a big marketing tool for manufacturers and retailers and people stock up. I wonder how many firearms were purchased due to this vs what would have been purchased if we were never worried about losing our right to do so? I would venture to guess that it would be at least 5 times more.

AK and AR?

Hunters and others who hate EBRs had best step up and take notice. There's an awful lot of lever action and bolt action hunting guns on that list at the end.

thats a list of exempted guns that will not be affected, listed so that those hunters know they are safe, and do not need to act.

divide and conquer

I'm more worried about the election than this bill being passed.

Didn't the previous ban kinda fail miserably? Why would they want to do it again, especialy knowing that it cost so many Dems their seats?

Saying "I don't get it." would have been boring, and I don't want to speak spanish here either....I am not too worried about getting culturally conquered by the french. I already see the latter happening.

I think so called "republicans" have been more liberal lately, minus Paul and a few other drop outs.

well I grew up with the cubans down in Miami, FL and know that they don't like the cold that much, so I think we are safe up here for now...
