I can't help but feel things slipping away. Heaven help us if these people get any major support. I am all for the 1st amendment rights of everyone but, the sentiment expressed here goes beyond freedom of speech.

Why don't they just pass a resolution saying they no longer wish to be Americans and move to some other country?

What REALLY pisses me off is they didn't mention the Thunderbirds.

How terrible. Some poor soul may join the military, get discipline and good training for free and a paycheck.

Better to leave them in the gutter without any jobs except drug dealing etc. and no hope of anything better.

I remember when I joined. Someone had a .45 to the back of my head and threw a burlap sack over it and took me to basic in some non-descript truck.

Oh, and San Francisco can then be removed from any governmental aid if they have to declare an emergency, too.

What bothers me the most is how Cindy Sheehan thinks all her noise making is in protest for the death of her son KIA in Iraq. In reality it seems that she is demeaning his memory through her ongoing anti-troops, anti-war, anti-american activity and support for the likes of Ann Garrison.
Sadly, she is running for Congress and should she somehow win her election I don't see America becoming a better place for it.

Almost the same type of situation resulted in Carolyn McCarthy being elected to congress from the Long Island Railroad shooting a few years back and look at the damage she was able to do to gun owners rights..... Twats misplacing their anger and grief is never a good thing......

I really don't understand these people. Do they want to just abolish the military? Scary stuff.

See, if I was the President (Ha!) or some super-important military general, I'd have no problem saying to cities like Berkely or SanFran "Hey, you don't want us here? You don't like the military? You don't want anything to do with us? No effing problem. You'll never see us here again." So when there's a natural disaster (I've heard earthquakes happen in that area), no national guard, no troops, no air lifted food or water, nothing. The military is evil/wrong/immoral, remember? Some terrorist blows up a bomb in the middle of the city? Deal with it. You don't need the military's help, remember? Chinatown gets the message from the motherland to rise up and start phase II? Deal with it yourselves. Betcha wish you had some of those M4's, huh? I also find it ironic that SanFran/Berkeley is probably the easiest city in the US to get annihilated by a Chinese or Russian missile, yet they seem to be oblivious to this fact.
