Default Romney just endorsed McCain

Not only that but he has asked his delegates to vote McCain. This means that McCain is virtually unstoppable on the republican side of the house. I'm listening to the press conference on the radio, so I can't supply a link at this point.

Yup, Romney wants first dibs at the VP...but do you think McCain would give it to him?

But it does make McCain basically unstoppable.

Probably would help his chances in November. He admits he's not an expert on the economy, so it makes sense he'd select a businessman as a running mate.

I guess I should be used to the PA primary coming to late to matter. But this year I thought would be different. I saw Paul, Tancredo, and Thompson in the race and I thought this year would be different. I thought at least one would make it a real contest about important issues. None of them made it out of single digits. I want to cry.

right there with ya buddy, i'm truly depressed about this election cycle at this point. The GOP has abandoned it's principles over the last few years especially, and it's pretty damned disappointing.

Not sure at what point we can say it's hit rock bottom, but maybe after that's happened, we'll get a conservative revolution back within the party. In the mean time, i'm contemplating dropping my party affiliation on my registration. Never thought it would come to that, but the GOP has abandoned me... itself.. and this country.

Don't drop it until you vote for Ron Paul in the primary, even if just to say "F--- you!" to the fiscally liberal, anti-1A Republican party leaders.

I'm still voting Paul, but I'm just sick over how this election is turning out. What a bunch of dummies. Hide your guns and your money, cause the government is coming for both.

I believed a vote for Paul is a wasted vote. But now I think it may be the most important vote I can make. It does not matter if he will win or not. The more votes he gets now will send McCain a message that to win he needs to watch his step.

He may well get the Republican nomination but he still needs to take on the Dems. And for that he will need all the votes he can get. And he will need them even more if he wins and wants to run for a 2ed term.

The more people vote for Huck the more McCain will think he has to kiss up to the Religious Right. The more votes for Paul the more McCain will have to listen to Paul.

It is not much but it is at least something.
