That is a prime example of a worthless piece of crap idea.

Two seconds with a file and there is no more stamp. That and there are a couple hundred million guns that don't have the stamp already.

This is less of a concern then coded ammo idea which is also floating around across the country. I think they realize that they will not get the guns in this country so they are going to go after the ammo which is not protected. A firearm without ammo is just a hunk of metal. This law would not apply to firearms already owned.......at least at first.
