I've always supported Ron Paul, but Thompson was my 2nd choice. A solid supporter of the 2nd and 10th Amendments.

No one.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.


I believe government has become destructive of these ends (and has been for a long time) and it is time to significantly alter or abolish it. I don't think simply electing the "right people" will do-- big changes to our political structure, and our economic and social institutions are necessary.

Since no candidate is advocating significant alterations to, or abolition of, the government, I support none of them. Ron Paul and Mike Gravel are the closest to those arguing for structural changes to the government, but I don't believe either goes quite far enough. Moreover, there's little Paul or Gravel could do, even if elected, to implement their most far-reaching elements of their programs, without a sympathetic Congress. And both parties in Congress are hostile to any major structural changes.
