Good for him. Personally I think he should have done something other than hit the guy in the head with the gun once he took it from the robber. The guy proved he had the ability and very well could take your life.

I agree...but...once he no longer had the gun, he was less of a threat than when he was holding the gun. Shooting him at that time would have been a mistake...from a legal standpoint... I would think

The robbers already presented a threat by forcibly robbing the place with at gun point, who is to say they wouldnt kill you if they had the change.

I wouldn't take the chance and assume they would automatically leave, and they didnt. They tried to get the gun back, and ended up running away.

By pointing your gun at multiple people and making demands, you have already shown your propensity for violence. Who knows if you're going to be killed or not.

I would still feel my life is in danger, I would have felt my life was in danger EVEN AFTER I luckily took the gun. 2v1 at close distance with a gun, you still don't have the advantage.

There was a struggle for the gun. So the manager would have been justified in shooting the robber. Castle doctrine would apply here as well.
