Hey Charlie.....Frank is a good guy. I just prefer to load all my own ammo. I stop in and visit with Frank and have purchased a few things there. I just don't shoot indoors that much and I have a .22 indoor range at my house. I live 10 miles from CSLC and the 1000yd Club so Franks is about 10 miles from my house. I have a Life Membership to CSLC and our indoor range is used quite a bit in the winter. It's a bit rough compaired to Franks but used alot. I just shot quite a bit today outdoors....44 degrees and the pistol range to myself. A father and two sons came later and that was great to watch. They just bought a new 10-22 and were breaking it in. The Dad had a nice 1911 and Sig 220...two of my favorites so we had lots to chat about. I was running my 220 testing some mags I just picked up. I ran about 100rds of .40 through my CX4 and that was fun also. Keystone runs a great IDPA and I've shot there in the past....just no Saturdays open right now. I've shot quite a bit at the "Big House" in Lewisburg. Have not been there in a year or two but was always treated very well by the gaurds. Their indoor range is awesome but was shutdown for a while waiting for funds for lead clean-up. It may be open now. We should have a Lycoming County get-together this summer, Mike.

I thought this thread was dead as a lot has happend since my last post. My wife's meeting place has been moved to Jersey Shore so it won't pay for me to run back to see Frank.
It's tough getting into the mood since I just came back from major lung surgery at the Wilkes Barre VA Hospital. Still on the mend.
Renewed my Membership at the CSLC and can't wait to try out my Sigmas new trigger job from S&W. I sent it in to S&W with a trigger recovery problem and they modified the barrel for a potential feeding problem (?) and replaced a bagful uf updated parts and did a trigger job all on their dime. It dry fires real nice and I really want to put some rounds down range with it.

OK. Let's see if we can get Lycoming county folks to check in a bit more often, me included. How about a monthly response, even if it is just "hi, it's May and I'm still here."

Hi. It's May and I'm here.
I shoot a 9mm Bersa and a 40 Cal Bersa Firestorm Pro.
I live on Union Ave in Williamsport and shoot mostly at Sportsmans.
See you at a range sometime.

Hi! It's May and I'm still here (barely)
My wifes meeting place has now moved to Avis every Sunday. Too far away to go to Waterville Range in that timeframe and too far to return to Williamsport to go shooting. What's a guy to do?
One of my friends is thinking about a Bersa in .380 for cc. What's your opinion? (other than the ammo shortage)

How about up Pine Creek at the SGLs. I have never been there but I know folks from Wmspt. use it. That is sort of out Avis way.

Be safe (and remember your round count).

That's what I was trying to say, Pine Creek. I'd just get there and have to come back.

I'm still here as well. Hanging in there and have actually been getting some decent range time in.

Trying to get to a monday night Keystone pistol shoot and will definitely get an IDPA shoot under my belt soon as well.

Picking up an Eotech 512 for my Stag M2 in the next few days. Can't wait to do some drills with it.

I'm still hanging around. I haven't been shooting as much as I'd like too. Took a friend out to Sportsmans 2 weeks ago. Trip was cut short when we got toned out for a vehicle accident. Moneys tighter and in my spare time I'm either sleeping, training, or at the station.

One of these weekends I'll get out to sportsmans or down to Tripoli's.

I'm still around. Even though I don't live in Williamsport, I work here.

I'm in Cogan Station. Just learning about non-hunting arms and have a new carry permit. I've been to the Keystone range once. It's a bit far from home but I may join there. Very nice facility and the people I met were very helpful.

I have a little property around my home that includes a spot that backs up to a fair hill. I'm thinking to see if I can make a small range on my "back 40".
