Hello. I'm a new member looking to escape New Jersey and buy a small farm in PA.
I work in Edison, NJ and my wife works in Philadelphia. We have a three year old daughter, so we want a good school system for her when she starts school. I figure we need to be somewhere near Rt 78 or 202 for me to commute and my wife can pick up the train in Doylestown. I like small towns and don't need a Walmart or mall 5 minutes away. I want a farm and gun friendly town without "Firearm Discharge Prohibited Ordinances" in a county that will issue a permit to carry without hassles". If such a utopia still exists in Upper Bucks or Lehigh County I would appreciate any advise. I see from similar posts that there are several ranges/clubs in the area. Do any of these have 200/300 yard rifle ranges for High Power Shooters and are they "Black Rifle" friendly? |

I can't give you any specific area recommendations, but Bucks County is one of the counties that issues LTCFs quickly (on the spot if you go to the Sheriff's Office in Doylestown) and without hassle. There are lots of areas in the county where you could shoot on your property.
