I need a count of all the guys who are SURE they want to come on 18 Jan, weather permitting... including how many are actual members... if it turns out, there are just as many members as non-members, then there shouldn't be a problem, because policy is each member is allowed one guest per visit.

But if there are a lot more non-members, we'll probably have to ask for some sort of special allowance and perhaps an allotted time slot, with a modest fee included for the courtesy.

For anyone curious about becoming a member of the Ridge & Valley, here's the link to their website... I believe they ask that you show up for a monthly meeting in order to be voted in... the meetings are usually the 3rd Wed every month.

I am a member and am free for the date. I sent an email asking about use and have yet to receive an answer. I guess that we would be fine if we matched members with guests but would be better having them know we are there I will post a response when i get one but the meeting would most likely be the better approach.

I'll be there and I am not a member. A couple questions about the rules:

No Fully automatic Firearms on any club ranges.

Does that mean I can't shoot FA or I can't even bring FA to shoot on semi? Yeah, I know what it says, but this next one is a dosey so figured it was worth asking.

Only active members in good standing and law enforcement officers are permitted to have firearms on club property. ALL FIREARMS MUST BE LEGAL AND REGISTERED.

I am assuming that guests can have firearms, too. And that the firearms do not need to be "registered." Since there is no way to get a firearm registered in PA. Am I correct or is the rule correct?

I'll just look in the mirror. (Well, okay, I'm only 230 lbs.)

I don't think anyone would mind if you carried. Don't really know the guys there that well, but they seem very open about all matters gun-related.

It's best to call if there are any questions, but I don't think they want full auto weapons on the property, probably because of local ordinances and/or insurance restrictions.

As far as that 'registered' stuff goes, they probably just mean legally purchased, such as pistols through an FFL on record, that sort of thing. Again, I would call ahead just in case there are insurance restrictions on guests not carrying firearms on the property until officially a member.
