Club/Range that allows shooting AR Off-Hand?
I'm looking for a club/range that allows shooting my AR off-hand (standing). Most ranges seem to only allow bench shooting. I already sighted it in via bench and now want to practice other positions.
I live near Doylestown and am willing to drive a pretty good distance within SE PA.
Appreciate all suggestions and if they're accepting new members. Thanks

Stop up at Oley Fish and Game on Sunday. The club is having a carbine and pistol shoot.
Info in range shoot forum.

This is the one I shoot at which allows any shooting position you can manage to get yourself into.

Northern Chester County has 25, 50 and 150 yd ranges that allow offhand AR shooting.

I have not seen anything in the rules that prohibit standing fire. Just have to be behind the firing line. I'll be more than happy to take you sometime as my guest.DISCOUNTS - Steel Target Paint: beaverje10 (10% off) | Wiland USA: jbeaver05 (5% off)

Re: Club/Range that allows shooting AR Off-Hand?
There are ranges that prohibit shooting while standing? WTF, that sounds like the work of Obamas gun controlling liberals.
Admittedly I have only been a member of a few differnt gun clubs in my life so my experience is limited, but they have all allowed off handed fire. When I was looking for clubs up here in berks county they all allowed any safe reasonable position. Offhand, prone, kneeling whatever floats your boat so long as you are on the firing line observing all appropriate gun safety.
Hell, even the SGL's allow offhand
Do a google search for your local gun clubs and ask them.

Oley is having a carbine shoot on Sunday and I believe the ranges are closed until we are done. It usually runs all afternoon.

I'm not a member there, but the rules for Kimberton Rod and Gun don't say anything about having to shoot from the bench http://www.kfga.net/index.php?option...d=55&Itemid=63

FWIW I believe you can shoot standing at "CLASSIC PISTOL" 1310 INDUSTRIAL BLVD, Southampton, Pa. however it is only a 25 Yard Range but all you have to do is shoot at a small target...
