Apparently, the stupidity in this thread was building steadily until the poor behavior was reported to the staff.

I had to read all of it, and when it came to name calling, everyone involved in that crap got a 24 hour "time out".

If there isn't something constructive to add, why not click "new posts", and move along?

I couldn't agree more. The bullshit the OP endured, starting from post #2, which was entirely useless to the OP. He didn't receive a correct or helpful answer until #24.

I'm getting tired of answers being
1) treated as the OP is doing something wrong.
2) treated as the OP is an idiot for asking
3) answered INCORRECTLY
4) using Q's as a launching board to bait, badger and otherwise harass the person asking.

Seriously, this thread disgusts me.

Fingers, the op asked here because historically, this is the place to be directed tot he *correct* info, including a citation where the OP can "do his own research".

As you can see, from post #2, that expected outcome was unnecessarily delayed by asshattery.

Yes, the OP responded in an inappropriate way, and he has suffered the consequence of that in the form of an infraction. But seriously people. Look through this thread again for the purpose of understanding how NOT to reply to someones Q.

The point:
This is not how PAFOA responds to Q's
If I see this shit again I'm going to start giving week's off at a time, not a day. It's completely unnecessary and unacceptable.
In the future
1) Provide the answer, that is actually relevant to the Q, and preferably with a citation for reference or leave it.
2) If the OP responds with incorrect info, correct it as in #1 above.

Ouch! I thought I did OK in post #8 That is why I suffer from low self esteem

However, I do get your point.

Be safe (and I will keep repeating, "I am special, I am special").

True enough. There were other similar posts to yours. No foul there. My point was more about a helpful answer to his original question.
