Who is goin out for tree rats saturday??
Just wondering who will be goin for these fearsome critters saturday. I know I'm gonna pop a few. I'll take the old marlin m25 22lr out for a walk.

 There's my first two of the season and boy were they tasty! I'm hoping to get out again this weekend but I'm not sure if the weather will be cooperating. The next few that I harvest will be used to test a new recipe......Braised squirrel with bacon and onions

Squirrel biscuits and gravy... It is awesome... I also like to fry the meat in a little garlic salt, put it on some bread with cheese, then cook that... Grilled cheese and squirrel sammich...

Went out this afternoon....Apparently I'm doing something wrong...
Jumped 6 deer, 1 grouse at least a dozen chipmunks and only 1 gray squirrel (which I then proceeded to loose in the White Pine it was running up). Makes me think I should of been carrying my flintlock
