Default Looks like snow tomorrow, anyone going out...

with the flintlock?

I've been waiting for a snow day to hunt in for a long time. I may just get out the smoke pole tomorrow and head out forthe last day of fllintlock season. I would like to use the snow camo poncho I have so I can do some sneaking through the woods. Anyone else thinking of going out?

i think the last day of the season will find me laying in bed sleeping in.

Everything is a solid sheet of ice out here, the driveways, yards, trees... it hasn't even started melting off the tree's yet and the ground is forzen solid. Its not worth getting hurt trying to get into my stand.

Good luck guys, shoot straight

I just got in a little while ago. Probably head out this afternoon and call it quits. I passed on a doe a few days ago....probably shouldn't have passed.

I'm stuck working the AM, but I've been juggling tomorrows schedule so hopefully I can sneak out of here around 11AM and get to hunt the last few hours. Good luck to all who make it out!

I'll be out all day if needed. There is too much snow still on my property where I put my stand this year and the deer aren't moving through there unless someone makes them. I'll likely hit the gamelands 152 where I've been most of this late season.

If it is still snowing in the morning like it is now keeping the frizzen and flash pan dry should be an interesting time.
