I'm not much for stick-shooting, but that heart shot was some damn nice placing. Good job!

I haven't gotten anything yet... only been out on Saturday... stupid rain and freezing cold... bah.

Work this week is just sucking so no chance to get out... maybe Friday afternoon I'll go out for a while

Passed on 2 doe this morning around 7am. Then the township guys were driving their lull around in the parking lot next to my spot so I got out of there. I'll be back out tomorrow morning.

Only saw 1 deer on Saturday, outta range, first thing in the morning. Didn't see anything in the afternoon. All but had to run over 2 doe to get in the driveway at the cabin. I will be hitting my private spot tonight, haven't been there yet this season, saw a monster there last year. Good luck all.

My cousin hit one but couldn't find it. Claims he spent a few hours tracking and eventually lost the blood trail. He was posted on a drive and shot at one, he said it wasn't very big, but it was a legal buck. I'd never really heard of driving deer for archery, but that's how they do it.

Ummm driving for archery? why? I guess it would work if you can hit a running deer?

Friday's fishing was awesome.
Saturday was a good day in the woods but went home empty handed.
I saw some silhouettes first thing in the morning, probably doe.
I did see a fox make a meal out of a red squirrel which killed an hour or so.
That's all I got...for now...hopefully.

I learned a while ago... never pass up a good shot, especially a doe
