Taking it to the post office Saturday. Maybe I'll actually take one this year. I tend to let them walk waiting for the buck during archery and then when rifle rolls around, I either don't see any or I just don't manage to get a good day to hunt.

Can you buy them at a shop or do you have to mail something in?

You can buy the regular license at a shop. The anterless must be mailed in for the first few rounds and then they'll be sold over the counter at county treasurers. If you wait for over the counter, most management units will be sold out except around large cities.

I'll be mailing mine out today to hopefully get there for Monday's first day of sales.

Question, I was checking out the PA Game Commission's site and noticed that under the antlerless update section they show sold permits already. Does anyone know why this is?

    Per the PGC:

Prior to the first round of Antlerless License sales, Landowner License sales will be reflected in the number of available licenses for each unit.

I'm not sure how the Landowner License system works, but I believe that is it.

Put mine in the mail today. 2G.

You know you can send them to any county treasurer.
