Just your general license is all you need and your 07 license is valid until the end of June. Just remember you can only hunt Crows on Friday,Saturday and Sunday

Good Luck with the .22. Make sure of what is behind your target too. Crow hunting is a blast. They are a lot smarter and harder to hit than you think. I use a 12 gauge with a full choke. So far the best ammo I have found is 7 1/2 shot, 1 1/4 oz. Remington or Federal (as long as it is over 1300 fps),but I guess everyone has their own preference.

Have fun!!!!

Remington UMC 223rem 45gr JHP and a AR15......Crow buster with attitude!....or yeah....A2 style, no optics...much more sporting.

Or.....whatever I have out for Chucks that day....Rem Bull bbl 597 22mag w/33gr tips, Ruger Hawkeye 243win with Fed 70gr ballistic tip, Ruger BlackHawk 44mag w/Hornady 200gr XTP.

Also call 'em in using crow decoys surrounding a owl decoy. Use either one of my 870's with 7.5 shot and usually no more than a modified choke.

Never hunted them in the woods like the OP stated. Just long distance and calling them in overhead.

Whatever you like......have fun!

i have used a 12 gauge on them before but that was kinda easy, i want to try using the .22 for more of a challenge ya know, but if it gets to hard it's back to 870 lol.
