Unhappy RIP Walter Elliott

Just thought I'd pass along the news that Walt passed away yesterday. He was a local smith and a neighbor of mine in Franconia and went to school with his kids. I bought my first rifle from him and was one of the reasons I had a tattoo shop for 6yrs.
I saw him, last, at Seneca a few months ago where I found out he was ill and had less than 2yrs. I heard him tell John that he was going to see how many trigger jobs he could get done before his time came. I suppose, the Big Guy upstairs wanted him sooner.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Joanne, his son, Doug and daughter, Cindy.

Horrible news. I have known Walt since I opened my shop in 1993. He was a weekly visitor even up until the end. Walt was an honest and genuine guy who never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was a good guy and I am sorry he is gone.
