Default Gun Smith heads up in Bucks Co.

Greetings all,

I had previously posted this in the Bucks County subsection, but was advised it belonged here.

Pretty much based on posts here, I took two pistols (Ruger MK 1 .22 & Desert Eagle .44Mag) and a Colt AR rifle to Rich Karby for some work. The Desert Eagle required some custom machine work on the scope mount and installation of match sites. The AR (with a round Houge float tube) needed an interface designed and fabricated for a Harris bi-pod. Just wanted to let everyone know how well the experience went. Rich showed great attention to detail, fantastic workmanship and also put forth some very good advice.

He spent a good bit of time going over everything he did and giving me some ideas for future upgrades. I'd unhesitatingly recommend him for ANY gun related work and plan to continue to take my firearms to him. In my opinion he way undercharges in relation to his outstanding skills and the extra time spent on each project.

FYI, he's located in Bedminster, just outside of Dublin. Email him at:
recon1911@yahoo.com

Regards, Jim

+1 for Rich. So far he's helped me with my AR sights as well as some work on my Dan Wesson 1911 (odd grip panel help, sights, trigger and mainspring housings). The work was done very well, and he's great with communicating.
