Default Think I Can Make My M1A Go From This To That?

hey everyone i just picked up my SA m1a and thought of how much more beautiful it would look with a stock like this,

it currently is stained fairly dark from the factory,...i was wondering if there was anything or any advice i can do/use to help my m1a look better, i was considering birchwood casey stock refinising kit its about $27. any help is much appreciated!

The BC kit works great. That stock is going to look awesome when it's done, too pretty for a battle piece though.

Keep in mind that most stocks do NOT have flaming or figuring over the entire stock like the picture you posted. There are people that specifically make stocks with that figuring. So I'm sure you could make it look better and probably have a little figuring in the wood; it will most likely not look quite like that.
