Want to put a new stock on a Rem 700 SPS (7 Rem Mag.) Would rather pay someone to do it right than try myself. Thinking of a Bell and Carlson.
Any suggestions? |

Most good stocks are drop in...I've owned a few B&C stocks and it was drop in...no inletting required. Why pay someone money to do something you can do yourself? You will gain some useful knowledge by doing it yourself.
I must commend you for replacing that cheap POS SPS stock. It's almost as bad as Savage's factory stocks. Looks like Remington has taken a page from Savage's playbook on how to offer cheap rifles. If you are still eager to waste your money...go to EGW(Evolution Gun Works) in Quakertown. http://www.egw-guns.com/
