Well I just got back, save your gas money and time unless you like standing still 90% of the time.

The freaking aisles are so god damned thin if you have a waist size over 34" you are screwed .... good luck moving or seeing anything.

Besides that some STUPID people running this show (rant forth coming in general section)

OH and Rich Warner is NOT there today, another truck fuck up ... he will be there tomorrow.

I was there years ago. One of the dealers was bitching about nobody was spending money on his stuff. This guy was selling cleaning supplies for more then a brick and motor store.

I was there and their wasn't any of that bullshit there. Their was one guy selling Sham wows but he was also selling guns and shit.

Yes it is very fucking cramped and they allow screaming children in there which is makes it even worse.

Everything was soooooo over priced it wasn't even funny. The same shotgun i'm selling mossberg 500 cruiser w/ breaching barrel, ati stock, 6 shell side saddle and the only thing i don't have, a heat shield.....they want 650 which cuckoo. to buy mine in a gun store off the rack with out special treatment is 520. Glocks - 649

I only quick glanced the AR's and they were all well over a 1000. I saw one AK for 550 and the rest were in the 600-1200 range.

Their was a few guys that weren't price gouging like Dave Zeller but other than that your paying extremely high prices.

On the bright side I found Saiga 7.62 mags for 20 a piece and a bag of 4 couplers were 15.

I only really saw 9mm in the ammo depo. ranging from 11-40. Two guys selling 7.62/39, 4 or 6 guys selling 7.62/51, and there was a few selling .223.

Oh i know they were giving me looks of such disgust after I would just look...not touch, like ..pshh you mother fucker lol Their was some stuff that was really cool like a 1911 nazi era pistol, idk if it was .45 or 9mm but it had the swazita on it which i thought was cool.

Split Rock has become a good show, the first one got off to a rocky start (too much junk and not enough gun stuff) but Joel has worked to really clean it up.

Was there from 2 to 4 with the wife[her first gun show] she found it interesting,she looked at the black guns and said ,so these are the evil black guns they talk about,whats the big deal,god i love this woman. I looked at a chicom ak47[14k] and got the look of death from da boss and other than that there wasn't much that i was interested in. The wife got to handle a s&w 38 air weight snub and a rugar lcr snub,liked the weight of both but not the grips,to narrow for her,she did like the s&w over the rugar overall. Talked with Jerry from eaglearms for a while,nice guy,asked him where the nagant revolvers were and he said come to splitrock next week,hmmmmm road trip.
All in all it was a good day,the only bad thing was the person who did not have a clue on how to zip tie a gun,i did my revolver myself as he would make it impossible for me to reholster it his way.
