Gun Shows Nothing beats a gun show for finding great deals on knives and beef jerky, and occasionally firearms as well.

Default Gun show in Hamburg

Is anyone else going?
Does anyone else even know about it?
I haven't seen it advertised anywhere, I just happened to visit the promoters site to see if there is anything coming up and sure enough, there is.
http://www.comtgt.info/
I posted it in the Events section, but it doesn't show up right away.
It's a small show, usually between 150 - 200 tables.
I'll probably get there between 10:00 - 10:30 and stay for an hour or so.
I'll be wearing a blue windbreaker type jacket with "Jonestown Fish & Game" embroidered on the back.
Maybe I 'll have a chance to meet a few PAFOA members there.

I was thoroughly disappointed with the show.
The first clue was the half empty parking lot.
The second clue was the $5.00 admission sign on the door. The advertised price of admission was $6.00.
The third clue was the sign on the table just inside the door that said something to the effect of
This isn't a typical show, several vendors canceled with medical problems.
Then I looked around and wondered where everyone was.
It took about 20 minutes to check out every table. There were some good deals to be found in what little bit was there. I did spend a little bit of money, but not much.
The vendors did nothing wrong, but the promoters apparently didn't promote as well as they should have. This is the second show that I attended there that was promoted by the same people, and the other one also had an excuse/apology statement at the door.
I think these are the people who took over Davis Productions. If not, they seem to be trying to build a similar reputation.

You're making a correct assumption. I've been a member for several years. Maybe we have met.

That show is always like that. Last time I went to one of their shows (1 year ago) was at the lebanon expo. Heck they even used the same excuse as to why their vendors canceled. They then told me not to judge the show on that particular day
due to the absence of vendors. And that I was supposed to come to the show in hamburg because it was always full. Well I never did give their show another chance and probably never will.

Personally, I thought that Lebanon show was one of the best I've ever been too. No crowd, time to BS with vendors, and I picked up a great looking FR8. It don't get much better than that.
