rgb03,
AWESOME collection you have there!

Reminds me of a box of assorted chocolates.
(Hmmm... hope I don't pick the one with coconut in it.)

That blonde SKS shore is purrty. Un-issued model?
Picked up my first SKS last year. (Yugo) I love it and wouldn't hesitate to spend the extra money to get an un-issued one. (IF I had the money. )

Yup.
I can't think of another rifle you could buy NEW for $215 that would be better.

I only regret dismissing them for so long due to the lack of detachable magazine.

Ok, here's what I already have uploaded. I have at least one of each from Russia, Romania, Albania, China and Yugoslavia, but I don't have pics handy.

www.bloomautomatic.com/sksloading.wmv - this is the rare self-loading SKS.

www.bloomautomatic.com/yugolivelaunch2.wmv - combat footage of launching a live rifle grenade off a Yugo, w/ extra soundtrack added.

These are 4 Yugo's I picked up at Dunham's, complete with some trench art.

And of course, one with the golf ball launcher. Note how it lives together in perfect harmony with the black rifle. Kinda like that paul mccartney song.

In one of the mags (Shotgun News, I think), they had an ad for ceremonial Chinese SKS's with shiney chrome finish.... a bit too pimpish.

in most cases they are shop made and the chrome is cheep and flakes off, the real thing cerimonial sks's are too rare to sale in a mag and go for $500 and up the real thing will come with chinese paper work for authenticity

but I agree, too bling bling for me to go bang bang

I don't like anything shiney on my guns, its like walking around in a snowey field wearing orange expecting not to get seen lmfao

If I'm not mistaken, these had the paperwork and were about $600 each. So I think they were the real thing. I'm going through some old gun rags to see if I still have the ad, though.
