Very nice Shawn! Is it my eyes, or did someone add a Kings TS? It looks great and I am sure it feels like butter shooting it at the range.

TS ? IDK what that abbreviation is for

yeah, the recoil on an all steel 9mm like that is, well, like a baby. I tossed a aluminum buff in and its just amazing. Its got a 2-piece guide rod Im no fan of, that will go, mostly cause its scew comes loose after a range session. There are some spots on the slide that need deburred, and its gonna need front stippling. The trigger is crap. maybe Im spoiled but it breaks more like a dowel rod than a glass rod. Its gonna need some TLC. and its gonna need new sights too. The frame to slide fit is sloppy. Just an honest review. Its a great buy though, and its a good shooter, with a little work it can be great !

TS= Thumb Safety. Here is a Swenson that Jim used that is very similar.

Dont worry about slide to frame slop, as long as you have good barrel lockup it wont effect accuracy. Looks like a great pistol, its nice to see some other 1911 guys around here.

Hey. I'm not a betting man, but if Shawn sees another shiny object in the next few weeks, THAT gun could be yours.

Oooh, look. A penny!

could be

its not fit quite right, as it overengages slightly. Doesnt cause any functional issues.

Very nice, Shawn. The grips are a nice touch. Congrats on a sweet shooter.
