the run down..... the wood rack from top to bottom.. just a spartan sporting gun, it has been known to shoot though. 2nd is a pre 64, model70 .338win mag. and the bottom is a marlin 16" 45-70. On the table is my completely overdone wasr-10, which is a fun plinker and surprisingly accurate. the two handguns are a glock 29 10mm, and a springfield xd .45 compact.

Nice collection and an even nicer way to introduce yourself.

Very nice collection! How do you like the XD? I have been thinking about buying one myself. They seem like excellent guns.

jsb889: roger that. That wood is absolutely beautiful on that model 70.

the XD is a good gun, never had a misfire, good trigger, and i like the versatility that the compact xd offer with the extended mags(although you can do that with most compact glocks).. I dont know that i'd put it over my glock, but its very close. being new to carrying I also still feel a bit more comfortable with it because of the extra built in grip safety and the load and cocking indicators.

alot of 1911 owners seems to be switching to the XD for carry purpose, i converted 2 at the range they started going ga ga over my xd meanwhile had $1500 1911's
