It's not an actual cop gun, they are very rare, although these 'overruns' aren't that common either. I found this one with box, papers, and extra mag on GB at what I thought was a fair price.

Here is my Sig P220 .45 EDC. She has a little holster burn but never misses a beat!

Newest addition to the SIG inventory. P938 SAS. I replaced the Cocobolo grip panels with Hogue rubber grips to improve grip size. Seven-round magazine provides ability to grip with 2-7/8 fingers.

I own a Sig 229-R and love it!
Probably the finest handgun I own.

However, I really dislike the newer polymer framed Sig's.
They are too bulky and nowhere near the quality of the original alloy framed Sig 226 &229 series pistols.

Leo trade in .40 229 with Elite grips and a spare 228 slide.

    Hello Darkness, my old friend.

P229R Elite in .40S&W, one of the sexiest 229s I have ever seen.

    When in doubt, knifehand!

Yep, I haven't used it too much. The retention is almost too much for EDC, in my opinion. I wouldn't be able to pull it cleanly or quickly. I have to take the heat gun to it a little I think.
